I love the pelicans in St James, there's something almost prehistoric about them!
Still can't believe I thought completing my MA whilst working full-time was a smart move! Perfected my time management though...

As soon as she is set up I'll share everything she does. She's very talented but has been working for someone else whilst in the UK, moving back to France is going to allow her to go back to creating her own designs again.
Farewell champagne with a lovely friend headed of to Nantes to reconnect with her family and set up her jewellery business ❤️
Tonight's recreation is Isicia with wild greens, sadly these are store bought carrots instead of mine which I have just sown hence orange not purple! And we have decided on the book title! "Let food be thy medicine" Exciting times! #historicalrecipes #archaeology

Fab morning running our annual Easter Egg hunt for the kiddies at the shelter. Lots of chocolate coated smiles making up for my early start, now off for nibbles and drinks with my gorgeous co-mumma before we head home for a blended family afternoon in the pool and dinner.
Fabulous couple of days learning about Vikings and Saxons through play at Half Term dig school. We also got to pet farm animals, do some real life excavation and learn some responsible metal detecting! #youngarchaeologists #archaeology #education

Saturday talks!
Love a Saturday lie in....
I got back too late for the sunset on the beach tonight, and I'm currently not drinking, but here's a Trip in a fancy glass and candles in memory of our beloved Amy Usher, taken too soon, aged 22, 19.03.2015 xxx
Always amazing to see how someone who managed to demand wfh (before it was a thing) for a grand total of 8 hours, having kicked a full time trainee out of position, manages to get all the publicity "do-gooding" community opportunities. Nepotism is clearly underrated...
Had a wonderful evening engaging in the Sussex Archaeological Forum, and then a fascinating talk on the shipwrecks of Brighton!
What a fabulous Monday! Promotion confirmed, a quick consultation meeting at lunch confirming development of our leader training packs on decolonising archaeology teaching, a sunset drive along the coast, pilates class and still an hour to spend on my book whilst the other half cooks a Spanish feast
Recurating my feed after a spot of recrudescence...I have no time for disrespect nor drama thesedays.
Ha she rang me a couple of years ago with "You're a stepgran!" I said to her I haven't been with your dad in almost 20 years! But she's mine through and through and always will be! I'm so lucky to still be best friends with her father and he always encouraged us to stay close ❤️
I adore my former stepdaughter, always will, but that little toad doesn't half know how to ruin my mascara!
What a gorgeous commute!
