Example: When I first tried sharing that Technology Connections video, I instead copied the URL from the other video I shared... Because that was the URL in the address bar, and I didn't notice. I instead had to click the "Share" button. #enshittification

Oh, and by the way, another new "feature" that #YouTube just introduced? The URL for videos in a playlist is now the first video from that playlist that you played, regardless of which video you're watching at a given point in time.

Publishers’ AI battle hits Internet Archive
SF organization losing access to some news content
“We are collateral damage.” - Mark Graham, Wayback Machine
When preservation is caught in the crossfire, it’s not just libraries that lose—it’s the public’s access to history, knowledge, and truth.
The web shouldn’t disappear behind closed doors.

@atari.com, work out a deal with Hasbro & get Nerf Arena Blast re-released. It'd no doubt be the least likely Nightdive remaster we've ever seen, even more so than PO'ed was.

TIL PBS (regular PBS, not PBS Kids) had a game show in the mid-90s called "Think Twice". I probably would've watched it had it been on the air longer. Heck, I'd watch it if it were on today!

Bulbapedia, for example, is renaming themselves "Pokopedia" and theming around Pokopia instead of the Pokemon franchise as a whole.

So, the whole fake "Win12 will be all AI" leak got me thinking back to the Samsung SATA SSD thing, that they'd stop making them by the end of January, and yet it turns out you can still buy Samsung SATA SSDs no problem. (Though SSD prices have DOUBLED across the board in the past couple months...)

That said, I remember just after acquiring my GTX 1070 graphics card years back was when things went nuts with crypto and while that was a very unpleasant period for trying to get graphics cards, things eventually got back to normal.
Here's hoping the RAM/SSD shortages also don't last too long.

This is why I don't trust any "news" sources whose "reporting" consists of "This leak must be true" or "This rumor is clearly a fact".

PLEASE DO NOT watch the new Harry Potter TV show!
Don't 'hate watch' it, don't 'watch to see HOW bad it is'
There is NO EXCUSE that will justify supporting this show that ACTUALLY supports an Anti-Trans organisation.
No silly way to be ok supporting a TERF piece of shit!
LET. THE. SHOW. FAIL!

All right, so the "Add to Watch Later" button still exists on #YouTube, but ONLY if your looking at videos on a channel. Not in your Subscriptions feed/homepage/sidebar. Seriously, being able to quickly click a button to add it to the Watch Later playlist saves more time than you'd think.
