The belief that Reza Pahlavi- a nepo baby who has spent his life in the US living off the billions his father stole from the Iranian people- is some sort of democractic saviour is a delusional Western happy-ending fantasy. He is not a good guy.

We'll say it again: "social cohesion", to those who chant it, means maintenance of the status quo which privileges them, and silencing of everyone else. In the mouth of a Labor MP, it is an expression of the deepest hypocrisy.

We knew from the moment we heard it that “social cohesion” would be one of those Orwellian terms which would be used to cover all manner of state sanctioned abuse and deprivation of civic freedoms.
It fuels the very unrest it pretends to seek to quell.

You don't need a thousand words for this. "Social Cohesion" means someone is required to shut the fuck up, and it's never the powerful.
