I was burnt out so I just spent 2 weeks traveling around the entire US mostly on the Amtrak with a couple flights to make up for lost time

It was rad highly recommend. I planned to work on a side project but I ended up mostly just talking to people and checking out the views

Im so bad at networking I had several people at PAX try to talk about work stuff and im just like "sorry im on vacation"

My 2 weeks of travel summarized
- Seattle has good Pho
- LA too hot
- Texas too big
- NOLA is the friendliest place
- NYC really does have the best pizza
- Boston has a really weird relationship with crosswalks

Gotta wander the side halls to catch the cool cosplays

At PAX I had a good talk with a guy who asked point blank why I want to continue working in games with everything going on

And I realized for me as someone who started in 2020 fresh out of college theres now this weird sense of responsibility to try and help make things less terrible in the future

Heading back home today. Besides the food poisoning this was a great PAX

- Met many coworkers, devs, and fans
- Saw probably the best keynote ever from Xalavier
- Played so so so many phenomenal demos
