And I'm like what? Men who like cereal?
Person: yeah they're usually man children and [other derogatory things]
And then my immediate response is always, what is this? What are you talking about? Why do you care about this subject and this random generalisation? What the fuck are you saying?
It's almost always some weird niche argument or opinion from social media that they've parroted. But I've never even heard of any of this viewpoint so the sudden ferocity is kind of shocking.
Example: talking with someone recently and they suddenly get aggravated about men who like eating cereal
Since I've been out of the social media zeitgeist for a while, I've started to observe something kind of odd. Oftentimes when I'm speaking with someone, there can be a suddenly incredibly strong, biting, nearly vitriolic opinion on something kind of random. And then when I ask where this came from -

Epstein files artificial scarcity
Silicon valley wages go crazy though
"digestible" lol
The second sentence reads like a PR/media release lol. What a weird thing for someone completely not involved in the production to say
I liked this a lot. A bit overly quippy but had great perspectives on "happiness", and how it's normal to not be, because no one in history really has been consistently happy. It's fleeting and occasional but marketing and societal expectations means we think it should be constant and consistent
It's odd that I'm seeing online conversations bemoaning having to inherit dinner plates from older generations when they pass, and how meaningless and worthless they are. But large swathes of our younger generations are literally buying unrecyclable plastic in the shape of Miku Hatsune.
I love battle of gods, probably more than the next guy, but holy fuck stop remaking it please it was insane to have even remade it once !!
Get soggy with it
Love listening 2 monkeys spinning monkeys
Imagine... A beautiful woman tells you to get into a circle pit. You lose your fitbit. It's okay. She's in the pit too
Yeah... We need something just like McDonald's that's hyper palatable but has all the good macros for human consumption
Too many fucking cat food options man can I just get the one for him that's yummyyyyyyyy and makes him happy :)
