As much fun as that mini series was, the series that followed redefined the word ‘epic’

Keith Giffen was one of the most brilliantly creative humans I’ve ever known.  A curmudgeon with a heart of gold.  A generous collaborator.  An old, dear friend.  And, as my wife observed, “He was like a character out of a Keith Giffen story.”  So true! 

Safe travels, Keith.  You will be, missed.

This war is tragedy not simply because people are suffering and dying.

I don’t know what thinking behind this invasion is, but I wouldn’t be surprised if they felt as if they didn’t have any other legitimate recourse to protect their people

I know the current media narrative is bent in Israel’s favor.

But if you think this halfbreed Jewish dude would be on the side of the warmongering hard right prime minister who was indicted for corruption in midst of power struggle with Israel’s own judicial system, you couldn’t be more wrong
