The thing that stood out the most is that all over the city people were tearing down FIDESZ campaign posters.

For context: throughout the last 16 years after every election, FIDESZ left its campaign posters hanging everywhere. They were an omnipresent thing.

It’s incredible to witness the will of the people triumph over tyranny.

It's important the Hungarians now arrest every single crooked FIDESZ gangster who profited from the last 16 years of systemic corruption. Not just because it's good for Hungary but because it shows others, especially the Americans, that it can be done.

I think the Hungarian left will make a comeback in the next election. The electoral system was almost tailor-made to keep them out of power. Orban just didn't expect a conservative revolt against him that leftwing and liberal voters would join in an electoral alliance.
