Sandy, has this ever been reprinted anywhere? I can definitely see the Caniff/Sickles influence on this page.

High Street Hellcats is a graphic novel from Janet Harvey and Megan Levens - the same team that brought you Angel City. Get ready for bare-knuckle action, period drama, and Oceans Eleven ensemble heist shenanigans in 1920’s London!

HIGH STREET HELLCATS! A graphic novel High Street Hellcats is an action-packed tale of a high stakes heist, executed by an all-women gang in 1920s London.

I just backed this and so should you! I have had the pleasure of working with Janet & Megan together...and they make magic! So happy they're re-teaming for this.

I really enjoyed IN PERPETUITY by Peter and Maria Hoey published by @topshelfcomix.bsky.social. It has a Chris Ware vibe but with an Ed Brubaker sensibility. It starts slow, but worth the wait. If anything, this story strangely made me appreciate life. And isn't that why we read in the first place?

Hornsby & Halo #1 review Blending heartwarming art with an exploration of nature versus nurture, 'Hornsby & Halo' #1 sets up an enchanting all-ages tale.

Hornsby & Halo #1 is a gem, in my biased opinion. But it's a series I would definitely buy! Give it a shot and let me know!

How can anyone say no to a comic called CHEST FACE??

Check out Dean Haspiel's pulp noir satire about a stand-up comedian whose FACE is on his CHEST (think about that) -- before its Kickstarter ends on 11/22!

Blue Sky Comic People: Can anyone recall which comics this Dark Knight subscription ad ran in? I know it ran in JLA #250. I'm trying to remember where I first saw it because that was the first time I had even heard it existed.

Turns out Winsor McKay was doing it in Little Nemo. This is a more famous example from 1908, but the guy was doing these polyptychs three years earlier in the strip. Just boundless imagination!

Jake Parker has a very clear and simple shop (shop.mrjakeparker.com). I'm guessing he uses a Squarespace template, but I'm not sure.

Comic Book People!

Does this "panoramic environment broken up into panels" technique have a label?

The earliest I've seen it done is Eisner's The Spirit (of course). I'm not 100% sure Eisner invented this technique, but I'm willing to bet he did.
