I think this is totally true!! my characters are all drawn from facets of myself (I think that's probably broadly true for people who write/draw characters), and each exaggerates in a different direction.

I think this is true but in a way I'm not entirely conscious of. their dynamic is 100% drawn from multiple relationships and experiences in my life though! and I'm sure my subconscious is projecting all kinds of buried feelings into the artwork/story.

checked instagram this morning - a news org I follow posted a photo of a mound of corpses, blown to pieces and dismembered, with zero content warning or filter.

later this same day, I had a painting of a guy's ass get removed for violating content guidelines.
