I don't think it would here as the maximum electrical output is limited to your power source, which you say is USB 2.0. If the source were the same as the smaller ports, you might be right here

Now you can transfer data with your high speed data transfer cable at USB 2.0 speeds
I doubt it would support those fully but it's nice to see a converter for them anyway
People think porting to Android is such a challenge/burden sometimes but a lot of cases it's as simple as just adding more click buttons on screen
All volume sliders I added to the 2D Platformer demo in Godot 4.7 dev 5 work now, so you can adjust volumes per individual sound, as well as all sfx if you want.
Save, reset, load buttons for them are there but don't do anything. Won't know how to do this anyway, until I figure out saves
Interesting thing I noticed about this version:
. Downloading export templates from website almost never works now
. You can now download individual export templates and install directly through the app. Pretty useful since I'm only exporting to Android on Android app
With this in mind, I can't imagine a violin being played at a constant sustain. An organ would but it has a slightly different sound and would have breaks between notes
In the above example, once you've identified the appropriate instrument (for me square 1 is either trumpet or guitar/harp & square 2 is violin/organ), I find it's pretty useful to try to mimic the instrument closely for a better sound
I feel like a better way to add tension is from the composition itself, rather than repeating it so much the listener tenses up. I like to imagine the instruments as their physical equivalents sometimes, so imagine a trumpet, brass instrument, or violin in place of square 2 here
Haven't tested it for code completion yet but audio buses are fixed. Thanks for that fix @godotengine.org
Looks like I missed a couple of dev versions for Godot mobile. Hopefully 4.7dev5 fixes some issues I've had in dev3
A little too repetitive for my tastes, combined with the use of constant sustained notes without breaks. Has potential at least
I'm not sure if you're having an issue or just trying to see who uses godot
Would have been funnier if they were a rump
You can forget to drink water sometimes but don't forget to cum. Also you should probably drink some water too
It's also teaching me a lot about filler dialogue. If you have no ideas, I guess you can just have the character state the obvious for extra content
you don't say
Honestly I think console RPGs taught me that 99% of conversations are inane and it's not worth going around talking to strangers in real life lest they say "I'm on the bus..." like no shit so am I
That shrimp is a good cook
So it looks like a pretty cool looking instrument, sort of like a violin but with a crank and buttons. I'd always prefer to have a physical instrument whenever possible, because emulation of any instrument is either from waveforms or samples in some form. But if you prefer to emulate, then sure
Never heard of it until now so not sure what kind of opinion to have of it yet
While adding the "save volume config" button, decided to add another for "load" and "reset". Should make things much easier whenever I configure them correctly but they're all doing what they should be doing atm, which is nothing but show/hide when volume sliders do
I'm not exactly sure what you mean by "hurdy gurdy emulation" here
Got the button to show/hide working. If I had done the exact example, would have used an else statement instead of both ifs. Just glad this wasn't done with signals, which are such a mess. Now to add the "save config" button just for decoration atm
Sliders are there but won't do anything until they fix not being able to scroll through buses or code suggestions. Will still probably add the buttons here anyway and see if I can make the show/hide one work
@godotengine.org
4.7dev version on mobile:
Doesn't allow me to scroll down on audio buses or any code suggestions, so no way to go through them without a mouse and keyboard or PC ATM
Recommended fix: hold down on suggestions or options and swipe
Still works fix: arrow buttons on side; manual
A true chicken bacon ranch sandwich, unlike Subway
Famitracker is probably your best bet then, at least for chiptunes, but milkytracker is there for reading other formats. I find milkytracker a lot harder to edit in though and generally just prefer FL Studio for everything, when I can, but I can still make chiptunes in any. All offer different stuff
Surprised you haven't but there's probably other trackers out there that are made for this too now
Godot 4.7 dev mobile:
2D platformer:
Just added working sliders for master, sfx, music channels. Now the plan is to add individual sliders for each specific sfx.
I'll also try to add a button for saving the volume config, but it won't do anything yet, and a button to show/hide volume sliders
More contrast added but grass still needs more contrast from trees, IMO. Kind of hard to see trail area compared to trees and shrubs/tall grass things
