On 15th September 1987 @afc.co.uk were on UEFA Cup duty at Dalymount Park. A tight tie where they only drew 0-0 with a 1-0 follow up at Pittodrie. Still, a nice embroidered pennant was received into #TheAberdeenCollection and the trip to Dublin was great for the fans.

In June 1956 the touring @afc.co.uk party played a match against a Saskatchewan Select, running up a score of 17-0. The spoering Canadiand presented the Dons with this memento of our visit and it is now a part of #TheAberdeenCollection and remains on show in the Boardroom to this day.

The @afc.co.uk UEFA Cup tie against Dynamo Dresden at Pittodrie wasn't a memorable one, but Dynamo did present the Dons with a nice double-sided pennant that now resides within #TheAberdeenCollection - one of many hundreds standing patiently by for the chance to go on show whenever we can manage it.

Working on #TheAberdeenCollection we have just come upon a huge bundle of these cards. No doubt somebody out there will be able to tell us all about them. Looks like they are from 1981 and we have to find some more - 17 here but not the full playing squad. Any information welcome. #COYR

This is one of the thousands of photos in #TheAberdeenCollection but what is going on? Was it for an advert or just the photographer playing around? We don't know yet.
