I’ve been currently reading more horror/thriller/mystery/crime etc genre of books because I’m a little burnt out on fantasy & all the other genres & though I’ve been enjoying them it’s also been causing me to be more anxious and paranoid & having the worst nightmares lol

The reading slump as been fucking diabolical. I’ve got all these new books. But my brain keeps saying “no, just re read instead.”

Idk anything I read from RF Kuang makes me feel some type of way, might not be good, but it’s definitely some type of way 😭

My Libby holds always all come at once and then I get overwhelmed and try to figure out if I can read 15 books within 3 weeks 😂 (or I end up pushing them all back a week and have nothing to read). No inbetween.

We Used To Live Here was an entire mindfuck. 😩

I passed my reading goal in August for the year (it was 80) & was on just a binge of reading the most during August-September & burnt myself out and couldn’t pick up a book and read through it the last few weeks, but finally got We Used To Live Here (Marcus Kliewer) & I caaaannot put it down 😮‍💨

I’ve re-read it so many times and everytime it still gives me all the same feelings. I love the crows SO much.

Idk what it is about taking a vacation/break from things that has me trying to rearrange my life again & go into hiding to figure shit out 🫡

Honestly, Six of Crows duology has the kicking my feet giggling at the brush of hands concept. It’s one of my favorite YA fantasy duology, it isn’t romance focused but the little bits of romance in there…and the found family. And just..sigh. It’s so good.
