That makes more sense as to why it happens then. Thank you. I saw this one, too and wondered if it was delivered by the author for that price. 😂

Thanks for the explanation.

So it’s basically to save the hassle of having to recreate the listing in Amazon?

Fellow readers, could you kindly explain the insane difference in these prices?

Totally agree. I saw the rights to the book were purchased by a company that does stop motion animation. This story seems great for the big screen, too.

For anyone that is excited about the #Bookrooms movie, this book has similar vibes. I loved it so much.

Someone said to me, "I'm sorry but I got your book from a library." Nobody should ever apologise for that. You read my book! That's brilliant! I grew up hanging out in libraries and the idea of a world without them fills me with dread. Without libraries, authors, like readers, will only suffer.

TIL: If I suggest that a DNF should not count toward your reading goal, because, you know, it wasn’t finished, that I apparently need to “touch grass”.

🤷🏼‍♂️🤡

I was shocked at the price increase on this. Anyone know why it shot up? Is it really that rare?

Ep. 47: Nuclear War by Annie Jacobsen One of the scariest books I have read. Not the typical fright-fest-horror-style book, but something worse: what could actually happen.

In my pursuit of a novel that is actually scary, I found one, but not in the place I expected. Annie Jacobsen's well-researched book about nuclear war is easily one of the most terrifying I have read to date. Here's why:

Bookometer. That’s a term I need to use in the future. 😂

Hey #BookSky I have a question for you all: How many pages does a book have to be in order for you to consider it a “long” book? I’m thinking over 600.

I was told that after reading this, there would be a hole that no other book could fill. And now I understand.

I don’t mind long intros or real talk. I imagine it makes the episodes more authentic.
