but this all doesn't go without saying that i know art and ocs and stuff are all just for fun and you're allowed to do whatever you want!!! i can't stop you, and i don't want to. all these opinions just go into my own character creation. it's all really just preference :)

what i REALLY like is when these sorts of traits are added in a species that typically wouldn't fit that but they have a good reason, like a long haired breed of dog that trims their body fur but leaves the fur on their head long. i love that!!!!

especially when the human hair is naturally a completely different color from their body fur. i DO understand doing that if it's a HORSE or similar animal that DOES often have different color hair from their fur or like how maned wolves have a dark patch on their back, could be interpreted as hair

hot take i don't really like when furries are designed with human-like hair on their heads because i think it looks so out of place. there are exceptions, and some ways to make it look good and make sense, i just don't like when it's just slapped on there yk
