Hey been a minute just chiming in to say that this account Will be inactive for the foreseeable future, bskys age verification is shit and because I didn't want to dox my government id and used my face instead it has declared me underage, given the nature of this account this makes continuing hard

Yah in a complicated system you don't lose progress even when it's slow you just find more steps, but when it's punishing it can become discouraging as you may unknowingly break several rules or skip important steps that will set you back possibly hours.

I think it depends on the flavour of realism, i find "realistic" games that complicate simple processes considerably more playable than those that punish you harshly for mistakes. i.e making a copper pick in vintage story versus doing most things in project Zomboid
