We're witnessing the most aggressive, fanatical crackdown on free speech in my lifetime. The speed and breadth of government censorship and private sector and nonprofit capitulation has been astonishing. As has the lack of urgency/silence from people who've long claimed to care about this stuff.
Two big deadlines today for our upcoming conference.
September 15 is the last day to submit papers and also the last day to register at the reduced rate.
The preliminary program is now available on the website.

Greetings Everyone, I'm working on a PhD at Middle Tennessee State University, and I have been approved by the IRB to share my survey. I'm doing a generational comparative study looking at how the COVID-19 pandemic affected young adults and older adults. Specifically, Iβm comparing the experiences of people between 18β34 to adults 60 and older. If you, or someone you know, falls between this age bracket and is willing to participate, please access the survey link below. Your participation is anonymous, voluntary, and greatly appreciated. Your input would help us understand the long-term impacts of COVID across generations.

Shame on @nytimes.com Michael Barbaro for giving Christopher Rufo 40 min to proselytize the alleged dangers of DEI and higher ed without the scantest evidence based data to support any claims (and bragging about attacking Dr. Gay - despite the utter debunking of his claims of her plagiarism). ποΈποΈποΈ
