I really enjoyed this. I hope we get another ttrpg storyline in the future ๐ฅฐ
I knew her remembering important plot was strange!
One of my players was Going Through It a bit ago, and not only did his dice fail him (never rolled higher than an 11 all session), I never rolled so high in my life as a DM so consistently. Also the players couldn't save him.
He made it out of the session with 1HP.
Photo of Madison Square Garden during the Dimenaion 20 live shoe. 20,000 persons in attendance.
One of my players sends me photos of the #ttrpg shows he goes to, since I'm far away. This @dimension20.bsky.social Gauntlet at the Garden photo is AMAZING. I love waking up to surprises like this.
Still won't save the party next session though ๐ DMs gotta DM.
Yea. Do it up ๐๐๐
Meme - Friend: so you just sit at a table and pretend to go into Dungeons and fight dragons? Is it fun? Bob's Burgers Bob: I mean, I don't want to oversell it, but it changes you forever.
Funny enough, #TTRPGs have actually helped me with the DayJob. I'm able to speak up for myself more, and "yes and" or "no but" more effectively. I'm more comfortable taking the lead on tasks, and shutting down issues as they pop ip.
Messed up the leveling in Rise of Tiamat, so players were level 11 about to meet the Multiheaded Mistress at too low a level. Put them through a dungeon in that was full of trials and tribulations (and nonsense!) to get them up two levels. Now this last room?
I deeply adore this comic. Nort working on this DnD plot is amazing ๐ฅฐ
Holidays are finally over, so the groups are back to campaign'n. Tonight is Phandelver & Below: The Shattered Obelisk
I did that once. I had "up, down, laboratory, armory, living space" buttons. They didn't ask what the buttons were, and mashed them randomly.
It was at the end, they actually asked what the buttons said. It was funny.
I'm living for your DnD story ๐ฅฐ
At work and a colleague excitedly told me about her kiddos first #DND game last night! She doesn't know the specifics of the campaign, but they're both excited for this new gaming interest.
A giant GingerDreadnaught stands over a dozen NPC bodies in a magic circle, having been summoned to turn the landscape into a winter wonderland.
Top of the game, I had players roll, and secretly put them on one side or the other in the conflict. After announcing the goal was to claim the center circle for a round, and use as many characters it takes to do it, everything came down to Group Roll vs Group Roll.
The invaders won! #ttrpg
Back from vacation, and the games are starting again! Starting the week off with a one shot session before delving into Phandelver and Below on Wednesday. ๐ฅฐ
SKIP A ROCK.

One day I'll meet you there ๐ฅฐ

For the holidays, ive suspended my long running games and have been doing my annual festive one shots.
This year, the players are the Snow- and Gingerbread-folk of Frostington! Group A led the defense against The Grinch... I mean, Greenlings and Icelings, while Group B fought the GingerDreadnaught
