Once you get to an outside temperature of about 12-15degC, it stops working. But at 5-7 it still works.
If you take air at 7degC, 90%RH and heat it up to 15degC without adding or subtracting any moisture to it, the RH drops to about 53%
It still works, even if the +5degC air is at 100%RH, bringing it in and heating it even to 15degC reduces the RH to just over 50%.
I’ve just started reading this!

Photo of a hand holding a kindle displaying the cover of the novel “Cloud Cuckoo Land” by Anthony Doerr. The words are white and fill the whole cover, the background (also black and white since it’s a kindle screen) has a city skyline across the bottom, clouds across the middle and birds across the top.
Just finished re-reading this, it was the best book I read last year and is also the best book I’ve read this year. Highly recommend!
Same! I’m currently rereading Anthony Doerr’s “Cloud Cuckoo Land” because I haven’t found anything that’s hit quite like it since (give it a try, if it’s fiction you’re looking for?)
Loved this! But also try his next novel, Cloud Cuckoo Land - in my opinion it’s even better

This is awesome!
My happy place. Doesn’t look quite like this in February, mind 😅

Hello! Happy New Year! I had a little break from socials over the festive period but seem to have gained another little flurry of new followers. If you’d like a follow back, say hi below! 👇
@stevekrajewski.bsky.social checking back in to report that I just finished cloud cuckoo land and loved it!
The place I had brunch yesterday pulled off the ultimate in Christmas trolling: tucked in amongst their festive playlist of mostly cover versions was the original of - you guessed it… #Whamageddon
Unplugging for a bit over the holidays but popping back with my visitor attraction hat on to request that if you have a great experience somewhere this Christmas, don’t forget to leave a nice review.
If it’s not so great but easily fixable, constructive feedback in private is very helpful.
My starter pack on U.K. engineers is still growing- 100 people and organisations up there, now including my own employer @raeng.org.uk and lots more of its awardees and Fellows. Let me know if I’ve missed anyone!

I love this jumper!
It’s been a couple of weeks since I last checked on mine, thanks to work and rain. Fingers crossed 😬
Still writing, still procrastinating, still panicking 🥲
Today, we're holding space for the sphinxes that were meant to sit atop both towers of the #CliftonSuspensionBridge.
Because how cool would that have been? 💚

😕
One of the (presumably) teenage boys on my bus this morning was absolutely drenched in lynx (or similar) and I was wondering whether it was equally antisocial to open the window in today’s weather 😏
Unpopular opinion: wearing excessive amounts of fragrance in enclosed public spaces is every bit as antisocial as playing audible music/phone sounds 🚌🤧🤢
Would love to be included please 🙏
Congratulations!
