i felt not that far from saying it

voicing the opposite of what you mean to purge your worst thought

a whole thing a person is doing that you cannot hold in mind

what is hard to face because it is so many people's way in the world

sometimes drawing to see if i still could

i was brushing the timid sister cat and the bolder sister cat swatted me

staring into each other's blindspots

when you spoke endearingly by accident

the way that one person might need it to be played in tune

come be new around me

i broke my rule and talked about a dream i had

in my dream the highend curators, without asking me, expected i would sell the sculptures for seven dollars

and i was screaming at them that even the ones that went smoothly took three weeks to make

some desire to enter inside where you were excluded

who told you it was good

trying not to resent for whom the music came easier

did the question give you a chance at an absurd answer

the misspent youth that was spent believing in how you were taught

not conceding that what people get wrong is what makes life fascinating

i would say pick one, even if the choice is random

how quickly did you reach your point of overwhelming irresponsibility

how much of your imagined world requires the ways of this world

out of which of these dangerous self-conceptions

grateful that you would talk about it at all

your retelling

never certain how it will be taken
