OK, assuming and hoping you're right, what will Farage do next to fuck up the country if he doesn’t become Prime Minister?

And this sort of simplistic analysis is why I cant quite bring myself to vote Green, despite supporting many of their policies.

Does the Labour candidate have a friend who, frankly, doesn’t give a damn?

Apart from Sky, I've not heard of any of those companies. Perhaps it's not just to avoid funding hate that means they need to review where they place their adverts. They're talking into a void.

Absolutely. Most people who work for MPs are shockingly underpaid for the level of work they do (I was one). Not sure MPs are underpaid though. We need the job to be full time but with no extras, but it should be not be more than, say, a head teacher.

Not sure she'd win that one.

Shockingly bad policy. Why should people with no access to a car subsidise those those who have it? Put money jnto better public transport or making EVs more affordable. Use the crisis as an opportunity to change attitudes to fossil fuels.

And then there's the practicalities. I recently went for a sauna on a UK beach. Despite having to wear a costume in the sauna (yuk), the worst bit was having to take the costume off while trying to keep a towel around me to prevent upsetting anyone by briefly showing my naked body.

I guess it works for you. But, if they serve food during the film, how can this not disrupt the film for you or, more importantly, your neighbours? Genuine question.

They have tables at seats? Good grief. You're watching a film, not having your dinner.

I don't know who this man is or why I should care too much about his opinions, other than finding them loathsome.

There was an interesting piece on The Rest Is Entertainment podcast about how the Dubai authorities give visas to "influencers" and give them support. No wonder that the views on the situation are positive (that and the threat of going to prison for being negative).

It is a question I'd genuinely like to know the answer to. Why has no other political party set up like this, not even the chaos of Your Party? If Tice won't explain it, could somebody else give an informed explanation?

I downloaded the free sample and it lists his previous works in the frontispiece. But he fails to give the title of the one "longlisted for the Orwell prize". I assume this is because it was written before he joined the cult and was reasonably objective.

There's justifiable criticism and then there's deranged nonsense.

And suddenly I'm transported back to Labour GC meetings in the 1980s and the behaviour of our Militant comrades.

But when TV news introduces a member of any party it says "Green Party leader Zak Polanski" or "Labour Chancellor Rachel Reeves". Saying "Your Party leader Jeremy Corbyn" doesn't work, even if it's Jeremy's turn this week. He's not my party leader.

I watched the ITV news the last couple of nights. There was no attempt to disguise their complete distrust of anything Trump claimed. Refreshing.

The poor people sitting in that office and not being able to say "You're rambling and talking nonsense again, Grandad."

Isn't "You shall have no other god but me" also a foundation of Judaism and Christianity? Would someone espousing The Ten Commandments also be accused of trying to sunjugate another religious group?
