How is it racially motivated? JP Saxe is an artist whose tour got cancelled because he couldn't sell out his venues' size. I'm saying I *don't* want that to happen to Doechii. Not the point. The point is that musicians are consistently having to cancel or downsize their tours due to the economy slowly falling into misery and ticket prices inflating, and that I don't want to see Doechii having to go through the same thing. Read the room.

I don't regret the last 3 years, but it's definitely hard to be back in the place I was raised in and not propose to yourself the question "Was it worth it?".

Anyways, Madrid is a gorgeous place and perhaps my favourite one.

But it's also a sour reminder that I could've stayed here and probably enjoyed the last 3 years of my life far more than I did. I could've grown out a life in a city I loved without the constant fear of estrangement, and instead I chose the challenge.

On one hand, being in the city again brings back so many memories: first times, home grounds, my local metro line... It's reminding me of what it's like to feel at home somewhere, something I haven't really felt in any placed I've lived in up til now.

Been in Madrid for the past two days. It's the city I was raised in and where I learned what it meant to be queer and to be yourself.

There's definitely a few mixed emotions, mostly positive.

Mannnnn part of me is really excited for this new Blood Orange album but the singles aren't hitting. Nothing's snapping as much as stuff from the last few projects and he seems to be really immersed in this atmospheric ambient pop stuff which I just don't think he stands out as much in :(
