How about we, as a nation, stop promoting a 2 party system? With only 2 parties it quickly becomes "us vs them". With more than 2 it's less likely that one party will be able to steamroll their way over the laws. It would force parties to compromise.

The biggest issue is the 2 party system. It breeds "us vs them". Then, when the same corps are allowed to pay off both parties, there's one.
