That assumes they were paying a lot of attention to it; they should have been but they were likely living a pivotal moment. Bottom line is the fact all the MN guys but one skipped suggest a bigger trend and my guess is the we had other obligations is an attempt to escape the shit show of both sides.

That is the word for it, and naïve.
Yeah, that surprised me too. Only MN guy to go. That said for most of them they are just kids who have spent their lives playing hockey which isn’t an excuse but none of us were super smart at 25.
I don’t know him personally but he was a student in middle school of one of my best friends who says he and his family are awesome people so probably not unexpected. He should get a standing ovation at the next game.
Correct. Ever see the videos of Putin or Lukashenko playing hockey against professionals — neither can skate but they score five to ten goals against them. Autocrats autocrat and hockey players aren’t politicians, so they get taken advantage of by such people.
How do you know that is their politics? Assuming simply makes you like the MAGA asshat who would assume based on your comment you are a leftist communist — one of the players who was at the White House has been a strong advocate for the LGBTQ+ community. Did you know that?
Well, he was taking advantage of them, and having played hockey against him in my old man’s league he was a want to be/never was pylon taking advantage of them — but that is why the autocratically inclined do, put themselves at the center of everything.
I don’t know their politics but my guess is regardless of them, they like the vast majority of us from the Twin Cities are outraged because it isn’t who we are.
100%, and I can tell you being from the Twib Cities it isn’t surprising because people of all politics are pissed off about what has and is happening there.
What they didn’t realize is they were giving up their agency way too easily and the MN guys deserve credit for not doing that — but when it is home — like it is for them or me — it is personal what has been happening. For the guys from MN it is too.
It’s th nature of the beast — and the players aren’t political so they are easy prey for people who want to leverage their victory.
If you lived there you would think before you write shit that makes you only marginally better than the people who you rightfully dislike. And the point is those guys including one who was a student of one of my life long best friends deserve a shoutout for not being there, which was the point.
I am actually from the Twin Cities, grew up across the River, my sister and her family live in St Paul. I grew up playing hockey, don’t lecture me about the tragedy of Renee Good and Alex Pretti until you have been on the streets in -14 weather and had ICE invade your hometown.
Four of them are Minnesota guys — three from the cities and one (Nelson) who is part of Minnesy’s Royal family of hockey. Perhaps not a coincidence.
I am pretty confident we are going to hear a guy who had nothing to do with a US win in Olympic hockey, talk more about his role in the win the other day than Herb Brooks did in his entire life time talking about the Miracle on Ice.
I have probably seen them 20 times since the first time in 1989, and while we are all getting older, seeing @DefLeppard live will never ever gets old!!!
No it is actually powered by five years of cutting edge longitudinal research and working with leaders in the field of political discourse. Ai is just the best way to allow people to interact with that data in a way to practice conversations.

We are basically soft launching which is why. Has only been out since the beginning of the week and haven’t started heavily promoting.
Click the contact support on the app and the tech team can answer those kinds of questions.
It started, like too many things do these days, with a Facebook comment.
Someone I’ve known a long time — someone who used to knock doors for the same candidates I did and was at my fifth birthday party — wrote that I must be “a liberal with TDS.”

Well I have called worse but typically on a hockey rink.
Yes it does and I didn’t actually know that was what it was about until recently reading that in a book on the history of the sunset strip.
Here is the inspiration for why I posted those words — I used to think about that song all the time as I travelled the world working with those fighting for democracy.
