thinking about this again because part of me is like “if i want to make miis of non-ocs i should do it on another account” but i dont want to lose my island progress… maybe i can make different sections. ocs live in one corner. jrpg miis live in another. agent 47 and diana mii get their own corner.

i have been in pain all weekend but tomodachi life has been a nice distraction from it. i feel like i’m taking it too seriously though because i’m putting all of these important events and Nouns from my story into it and adding them to my oc miis’ vocabulary. which has its own humor, i guess

(extremely specific RO posting) learned yesterday that you can stack the anolian/cruiser/merman/gator card combo for AV with a queen’s whip, which results in a base 30% attack bonus, plus 15% more on medium and/or brute-type monsters with a skel worker card on there too… she is so strong…
dancer update: pleased to report that arrow vulcan still kicks ass.
back in the day i used to get so many kind words from parties about her sp song (i added more int to her build than most dancers did at the time.) thankfully the AV build is naturally very high int, so she will still get to have a powerful sp song as the need arises…
in an attempt to prevent myself from doomscrolling yesterday i got my dancer to 99… the grind was mind-numbing but i do not regret it. many years ago before renewal i mained dancer but had to build her specifically for WoE/support… this time i get to let her follow her pve arrow vulcan build dreams…

i love dressing up my characters but it's hard for me to make a good condensed outfit that has all the right pieces... i respect the 500 bazillion MMO witch outfit inspiration sheets out there but i don't think it is wise for me to design a VN character with an ornate ffxiv-level outfit.
messing around with another outfit idea... i wanted to simplify her whole theme while still keeping the important character bits intact. i liked the cape in her last outfit but i don't trust myself to draw it consistently well. gotta sit on this one and see how i like it after drawing it more...
ok i got curious and tried it in japanese too… it was cute. you get to pick your miis’ first-person pronoun which is neat. (mugi’s a “speaks in the third person”-type…) also interestingly i dont think the jp version had the “i interviewed myself” bit in the first newscast.
i dunno if i’ll buy it but it did get me thinking about what would happen if i tried making the whole main cast as miis and the chaos that would inevitably unfold. maybe someday.
