Transphobia has melted far too many brains.

Algorithms have made social media sites anti-social for the sole purpose of encouraging rage bait to create the kind of engagement that keeps eyes glued to their pages.
"I declare Zuckerberg is not allowed to use my data" is the new "no copyright infringement intended."
Also, yes it is genuinely maddening how uninformed and misinformed so many transphobes are, but I think the bigger problem is their selective belief that "one case is too many."

For fuck sake, MELANIA TRUMP would have more right to claim herself a citizen than even DONALD TRUMP if they took away birthright citizenship, because his only actual claim to citizenship is by birthright!
MAGA won't take even two seconds to think through the arguments they are being fed.
If there is no birthright citizenship, then naturalized citizens who have actually put in the work to become a citizen would suddenly have more right to claim citizenship than most of the white conservatives who are simply parroting Trump's nonsense about this issue.
I seriously don't understand how conservatives are convincing themselves that birthright citizenship is a bad thing.
Like...99% of the people suggesting we get rid of it is literally only a citizen by birthright, which means that their citizenship would be in question if we got rid of it.
"This movie studio is failing within the capitalist system it has always existed in...must be the fucking commie's fault." - David Spade, basically.
Nah, Trump looks weak as fuck right now, because he is weak as fuck. He's a weak, pathetic little man, and everyone fuckin' knows it.
The guy who practically BEGGED IRAN TO RE-OPEN THE STRAIT OF HORMUZ after he fucked this whole thing up for no reason, just on a whim?
That guy? The guy GROVELING, BEGGING FOR HELP from other nations and "offering" Iran tax free passage in the Strait for 30 days? How is that "strong"?
And we fucking deserve it. I don't think anyone deserves to die for this, but we definitely deserve the justifiable hate we're getting from people and leaders around the world.
How can anyone think this looks like a position of strength? Do you really think Trump looks strong right now?
Have we ever looked worse than we do right now? Like holy fuck, nobody likes us, nobody wants to help us help Israel, everybody is absolutely fucking done with us, and we've all but admitted defeat without saying those exact words by admitting "yeah, Iran is going to make us pay $200 a barrel."
Trump asks partner nations to step in and help open the Strait of Hormuz, and pretty much all of them refuse to do so.
Hell, a French military leader essentially told him to go fuck himself in so many words.
Has this country ever looked weaker on the world stage?
Meanwhile, Trump's admin quietly admits that they now expect prices to soar to $175 a barrel for oil, suggesting it won't be back down to $100 until the end of 2027.
This is an admission that Trump's admin now believes Iran's initial threat of $200 a barrel was not far off the mark.
Iran says "we have no oil to ship," basically giving Trump the middle finger.
It's impossible to see this as anything other than a bully punching someone, they take their toys and go home, the bully apologizes, and the victim refuses to accept their apology.
And why should they have to?
So let me get this straight.
Audio recordings implicate Trump making the decision to start this war of his own volition.
Iran closes Strait of Hormuz in response, warns Americans to expect $200 a barrel.
Trump relents, tells Iran to open the Strait free of charge to get oil moving.
Defense Dept under Pete Hegseth just spent more than $93 billion. Included: $2 million on Alaskan king crab last September alone, $6.9 million on lobster tail, $1 million on salmon, $140,000 on doughnuts, $124,000 on ice cream machines, $26,000 on sushi, and $15.1 million on ribeye steak.
Texas lawmakers now suggesting they can define what religion is or is not, and that they can decide Islam is not a valid religion, thus allowing them to deny religious freedoms to Muslims.
...which is blatantly unconstitutional on its face.

NGL, I kinda love the way MLB on Fox chose to announce that Israel had lost the World Baseball Classic on Facebook.
Best comment by far: "why didn't they just get the Americans to play their games?"
Who is this protester and how much were they paid to lick boot?

A brief overview on why the AI Bubble is not just a 'Dot Com' or even just a '2008'; but something existentially threatening to Capitalism.
Norman Rockwell's art wasn't necessarily evil, it was just boring.
The least surprising thing ever. Turns out when you base your algorithms around triggering people into responding to shit they don't even like or want to see can fuck with their head. Who knew??? God, it's like having a fucking bully dictate what you will and won't see at all times.
History rhymes. Back in the 30s and 40s, a lot of American politicians actually sided with the Nazis, and others like you did what they could with limited power. I just wish it didn't always have to be like this, we should be able to stop evil when we see it.
Hakeem Jeffries was literally voting for a resolution condemning socialism while this meeting was taking place
The President of the United States just called for Democratic members of Congress to be executed. "HANG THEM", he posted.
If you're a person of influence in this country and you haven't picked a side, maybe now would be the time to pick a fucking side.
Getting out in front of that makes them look like the hypocrite. Trying to pretend it's okay when Pelosi does it because technically it's legal makes YOU look like a hypocrite. Get it yet?
What is it with libs always getting so God damn tribal, it's actually in your benefit to acknowledge that both are instances of corruption, because if you haven't figured out the far right playbook by now, their response is about to be "but Pelosi."
