I don't have a whole lit of access to gardening stuff, but if anyone thinks it's super important I might be able to get things
I saw on yt that window Direction can be a big part of how plants grow. I have a north facing window and I'm pretty sure that's the worst for plants to grow
the string of Pearls is what I'm most worried about. the pearls themselves are kinda squishy and deflated, but the roots/lower stems are brown and look dead
I left it out during summer in texas, so I'm worried the heat might have done serious damage :[
it got direct sunlight in the afternoon, too
I'm not actually sure about what plant the first one is bcus I got rid of the plant info card a while ago
it's leaves are a little squishy but I think it might be recovering? I moved around the dirt a little and it's roots seemed pretty solid
A small succulent sprout (?) in a pot
my poor dehydrated String of Pearls
The roots/maybe stem of my String of Pearls that look dead to me
can someone who knows plants help me?
I got two succulents a few months ago and I have not been doing a good job taking care of them. I really want these guys to do well but I don't know where to start :[

Wise man in a sweater in his home library 📚 contemplating: I don't know what word in the English language --I can't find one-- applies to people who are willing to sacrifice the literal existence of organized human life so they can put a few more dollars into highly stuffed pockets. The word 'evil' doesn't even begin to approach it. ~Noam Chomsky
Wise man…
This story can't be repeated enough. The GOP is lined up behind the guy who is so incompetent that his quasi-gov't agency did this. They're confirming his highly questionable nominees & hurting the American people.
And "accidentally"? It was stupidity, not accident. www.nbcnews.com/politics/dog...
Great job by Ruben (@rubenbolling.bsky.social).
Just saw this posted on FB and had to share.
Today and in the coming days, remember
A drawing I did for my architecture class!
I wanted to try something more abstract for the landscape, and I'm very happy with how it came out! :D
Dear Modern Humans,
You thought you were so much smarter than people from the Middle Ages. But you're not.
Why do you think the dark ages lasted so long? It was because of greedy, insane despots who crushed progress and dangerous thoughts.
It won't end until you rise up and overthrow them all.
Forgot to put this in the original post haha
Some drawings I did in Spanish class!!
I'm very happy with how the bush came out, it helped me understand how to draw organic shape like that! :D
I don’t know who needs to hear this, but if you’re doomscrolling right now for no reason and you’re ignoring a good book you’ve been reading, you can just stop doomscrolling and read the book instead.
I’m sure gonna.
How about an indie horror game where nothing is wrong or spooky but you have to pick up the phone and call someone
Anyone looking to ban a book from a school should have to prove they read it by presenting a book report to the school committee.
Charles Bukowski said it best:
doubt is the burden of the thoughtful. Confidence, unfortunately, often belongs to the clueless.
I have never read a character so prone to fits and fevers of great emotion as Victor Frankenstein.
What a dramatic little twink. He spends 90% of the book languishing in his horrors.
There is a hole in the world, a void, an emptiness, shaped like the art you haven't made yet.
My first drawing of 2025!
I'm very proud of this, it's my first digital drawing that I've actually liked :D
