He also was a production assistant for the movie and has some really insane stories. He was the head of the Ghost Shop for Ghostbusters, worked on all three of the original Star Wars movies, as well as two of the original Star Trek movies, among many other things.

They came out better than they started. This is insane.
One of the cool things about being overly online and reading too much news is that it becomes clear when a certain Story becomes The Thing. You watch in real time as a particular narrative emerges and gets repeated over and over until everyone goes, "Oh, it's always been that way."
Left: a show whose writers constantly introduced major plot turns without any idea how to deal with them later.
Right: a show whose creators came up with their ending early on and stuck to it, no matter the mounting evidence that it was no longer viable.
Planning in TV is wildly overrated.
