I'm thiiiiis close to finishing SNEK (aka Mortal Coil). I said I wasn't going to leave the metallic candy pop for last, but alas. At least the Cosmo metallics aren't too big of a pain to work with. And once it's done I can get back to ghost bats!

So when everyone started praising my willpower and hard work, even though I changed literally nothing about my lifestyle beyond following basic post-surgery instructions, it made me so angry. And it's so hard to explain being angry about praise.

This really resonates with me - thank you! I had bariatric surgery 8 years ago because it was the only thing I could figure out that would help with my PCOS symptoms - particularly my digestive hormones being so out of whack that I was literally ALWAYS hungry and nothing made it stop.

It's been a long week already but I got some work done on Bi Beetle!

This fabric is so pretty too! It's Da Vinci from PTP and has these amber streaks running through it. I'm thinking of doing a bunch of bug stitches on it to make a set!
