Rochester finished fifth gaining a point in their last game to make the playoffs. They finished with a 31-31-6-4 record and were led in scoring by Zac Jones, the defenseman, with 62 pts. He led the league in scoring by a defender. In goal, Devon Levi played 52 games, 23 wins, 2.83 GAA.
Winner will play Laval in the division semi final. Marlies last played Rochester in the playoffs in 2023 falling in 3 straight. Final game Pontus Holmberg had a hat trick in Toronto’s only playoff loss where a player scored a hat trick. Joseph Woll was in goal vs Malcolm Subban 8-4 final.
Okay, here we go the Toronto Marlies in the playoffs. Finished in fourth in the North. Closed out with two wins vs the division leaders Laval (Canadiens) Will begin against Rochester (Buffalo) for a best of three starting Wednesday 7p at the Coliseum. (Be there Toronto, it’s playoff hockey)

Landon Sim signed today by the #Marlies out of the London Knights. Good skill, solid grit and family connection to the Leafs Head Coach. Jon Sim won the Calder Cup after he won the Stanley Cup with Dallas. He was on the Phantoms team in 04-05 with Bérubé as an assistant.
