Now having so many trans friends & family, I’ve embraced some things I’d rejected before. I’ve allowed more “feminine” traits into who I am. ‘Cause they taught me nobody gets to decide what ME being a woman means. I can be as weird or fluid as I want within womanhood.

I’m a cis woman, & as I was growing up, I rejected a lot of “feminine” things & was quite upset about being boxed into those stereotypes & expectations.
Other genders didn’t suit me, I knew I was female. But I was still very uncomfortable with it.
