We’re back. Two weeks ago, a driver killed a 2 year-old child at 4th and Channel—the third pedestrian fatality of 2026. Since then, all SFMTA has done was repaint the existing crosswalks for a photo op. So the community took matters into our own hands.

It is so absurd, I stopped taking my kid to this library after it happened, until they restored the L.
She’s not going to lose her license or pay any damages after killing a family of 4 while driving over 60mph on a residential street.
Also we didn’t even get bollards out of it!!!
