We tend to quickly convert temporary cvc for cuffed catheter (2 weeks approx). Avf confection takes much longer though…(3 months?)

In regard to water consumption, Canaud et al. also showed that you could provide HDF with high convective volume while limiting water consumption by lowering dialysate flow.
