There has been a lot of pushback against the alignment chart in D&D recently due to people taking it to litterally. I still like using it as a quick shorthand though.

Ragatha might actually like that adventure.

I like to view it as Lawful/Chaotic is how closely they follow rules, and Good/Evil is how selfless/ish a person is.

Problems with the alignment chart is when people feel required to act that alignment all the time without any nuance. Seen some people be cartoonishly evil just because of the chart.

From my experience, or maybe just how I handle it at my table, the alignment chart isn't all that 1-dimentional. More just realtive guidelines on how a person would act in certain situations.

Midori - No, just isn't interested

Luey - Might of tried it once

Quinton - Probably would if he knew what it was

Aprio - It would have no effect, so no

Eclipex - No, he prefers to keep his mind sharp

Tricket - Often when he was alive (or at a weed equivalent on his world)

Luey and Aprio are both quick to make friends with anyone they find interesting or friendly.
Luey also has a keen, yet a bit flawed, sense of heroic someone could be and will be too quick to trust people with such potential

And Aprio can be easily won over by food.

It depends what type of attachment you are talking about
Both Midori and his adopted mother Murasaki have strong parental instincts and are quick to be protective of children in need.
Midori would probably have adopted more kids if it wasn't for his wife reminding him they couldn't support them all.

I may be brainstorming something like this for the Grey Twilight, but I have nothing solid in mind yet.

Yeah it was intentional, I loved the idea of the duality and each direction posing different challenges.

Though what you find can be a bit hit or miss at times. XD

I don't really see my characters being this 1-dimentional in their values so take this with a grain of salt. Added a few antagonists (bottom row) to the mix this time for a little extra variety.

In any case, these are just the ones that inform the way I draw the most but are not necessarily my favorite pieces of media per se (it's complicated...).

Absolutely adorable!

An illustration that is still just line art, without color. It depicts an urban scene featuring my sharkfolk, with different species going about their daily lives among the tall buildings of downtown of Tidebay city.

I've made a little more progress with the color blocking. It still feels a bit messy to me, sometimes I have trouble balancing the shadow colors.

Route 5 has become... a little overgrown in Rust Red. It's okay, I mean, at least there's no trainers on this route- hopefully. The only tricky thing is, once you go down, there's no clear way back up. I guess it's all or nothing on the road to Vermilion! 🙏
