Had the pleasure of meeting action movie icon Cynthia Rothrock today. Felt a bit guilty attending the event straight from the gym (+ the sweat of 300 hipsters from last night’s Lightning Bolt gig), but I did my best to be cool 👊🏽✨

This infuriating attitude shows up on the bookshelves in learning environments, too. We expect girls to empathize with boys, but we kneecap every opportunity to let boys empathize with girls. And look where we are.
