The first time I ever visited a Cineplex Odeon cinema was 1987, we saw Masters of the Universe. I have to admit there was something about that logo that just stuck when I was a kid. I loved visiting Cineplex cinemas ever since. I really hope that it remains Canadian.

So I saw the two towers first, then I saw the first film, a d then the return of the king. I've been eyeing it at work to pick up as I only have the theatrical versions.
See, now I've seen most of your essential list. Not Godfather though. On a side note with the exception of Star Wars, if a film gets absolutely hyped to death, it causes me to hold my nose. I was a late bloomer with LOTR, and I have never seen the Harry Potter franchise.
You know I really wish I could enjoy it or even try to. It just takes me back to a shitty point in my life sadly π₯Ί
the song comes on. Unfortunately I have deep seeded abandonment issues and the movie and song trigger an awful response. π
So about this...
There was a guy just before the film came out that I was absolutely smitten over. "My Heart Will Go On" was a staple on Much and radio. Two months before it came out he broke my heart to pieces. And for that reason I just couldn't stomach seeing the film. Also I wince whenever

I wish the gays at the office gym would notice me. Anyhow, here's a post workout pic.
As corny as this sounds, I really hope Cineplex remains Canadian and not purchased by another cinema chain. I feel like we're losing some of our cool Canadian branding. (Also Cineplex Odeon merged with Lowes in the U.S. in the 90s, and that definitely didn't end well)
I really wish that Q Lazzarus had a career beyond "Goodbye Horses." I found her documentary soundtrack while in Saskatoon, and the blend of house, soul and her vocals were definitely something ahead of it's time. She definitely deserved better.
That's like a lethal combo of uppers and downers. π¬
What did he OD on?
I was just back in Regina a couple of weeks ago, it's a shame there's no longer a downtown cinema. I loved the Cornwall Centre Cinemas as well.
Apparently the new album cover art has been given a warning. π
I miss the Coronet. Saw ninja turtles there when it opened.
I still have/use my iPod touch. π§

Considering how the majority of artists views also differ than the festival organizers, completely agree. I don't get how people look the other way that the festival organizers donate to trump related causes. #FuckCoachella

In a somewhat related thread,I carry an iPod separately from my phone. A lot of days I would prefer not to be focused on my screen, and I hate having to rely on my music being on my phone. There are some exceptions, but also few and far between.
