I have been exploring a proposal for symbology, and a flag, for the holothere/holotherian label.

"Holothere" is a term for physical nonhumanity. A holothere considers themselves entirely nonhuman, including physically.

Here are my ideas, and their justification! ☉∇

Technologies to remove carbon dioxide from the air: A reality check In 2015, 195 nations plus the European Union signed the Paris Agreement and pledged to undertake plans designed to limit the global temperature increase to 1.5°C. Yet in 2023, the world exceeded that ...

way too many smart people in tech are still over-estimating & imo foolishly optimistic about DAC tech. misplaced tech-optimism leads companies to ignore “ounce of prevention” steps that actually work & that stop pollution from operations in the first place… energy.mit.edu/news/technol...

The EU could have completely eliminated Russian gas imports had it actually aligned with its climate ambitions

Now we're in 2022 ^ 10 and the consequences of centre-right dweebs hand-wringing about how we need to everything 100x slower are going to hit absurdly and obscenely hard

I'm working on an update to the Cube Pets I released last week since I wasn't completely satisfied 😥

So far I've remade every animal, added new animations (like dancing) and I'll be adding 10 more animals. The pack will still be public domain & free!

the lesson to be learned here is that when you let artists and creatives cook, instead of doing everything possible to increase shareholder returns, you get creative art that becomes immortal and inspires everyone!!

you will always fall short when you don't trust the artists to do what they do best

It's MARTEN day!

No, not the other guy, that day should honestly be in September where it belongs. Since when does "10" sound like "ee-oh", anyways?

Anywho... give me eggs. You wouldn't say no to this face, would you?

instead of just following the user's instruction

I had to go back to Gallery, click revert, save the unedited reverted file, REDO MY EDITS, then save again as copy

instead of just fucking downloading the image from source a 2nd time

because we are in the era where computers tell us the thing we just told it to do is incorrect

in this case, I had edited the image in Samsung Gallery, then wanted to re-save a 2nd non-edited version of the photo

Facebook in its infinite wisdom has decided it knows better than me what I want

instead of doing the fucking. task. asked of it.

at least if you want to be conscious about people who misclick or something you can ASK

"This is already saved. Would you like to save it again?"

like chrome does

god fucking damn have we lost our goddamn way with technology

did I ask for your fucking opinion?

I hit the "save" button, so save it.

You're a computer, you do the task the user wants

the user hits save a 2nd time, you better fucking save it a 2nd time

I took a streetcar today (rare for me) and I have to say there were moments when I thought, "would it help if we all got off and pushed?"
