JD’s the advisor; he’s the one beefing with the pope
“Strange uses of the flesh” is the looksmaxxing stuff, “near died under the public eye” is him ODing on stream
It’s Clavicular
“Folx” has intense proxy pro-bourgeois vibes.
Wow that’s a really cute dress on you, the color is great for you
bitch said were smh
If you’re worried about passing, befriend cis women and let them teach you what they know from their own experience. Plenty of them are plenty clocky, but they still get read correctly as women, and if you ask, they’re more than happy to share their secrets with you as a fellow woman
A lot of them are very receptive to allying with and supporting us once they get past the initial hump of ignorance that cis people usually start with by default. Plus they had to go through the transition from girlhood to womanhood and can give us all sorts of useful advice
Ultimately, were women and so are they. Regardless of genital/gonadal configuration and endogenous hormone profiles, we have much more in common than not. That’s why I full-throatedly reject the idea that we as trans women need to separate ourselves from cis women
Plus it turns out that a TON of what we as trans women know about hormones and HRT from our experience is transferable to menopausal cis women. I’ve built a lot of rapport and solidarity with some of the older cis women in my life by sharing that knowledge, and it’s helped improve their QoL too!
It can be a fun way to build solidarity with cis women going through menopause, because we can bond over the fact that doctors don’t usually give a single shit about women’s health or quality of life when we can’t have babies, whether that’s due to menopause or being trans women
I turned the first vial of estrogen I ever finished into a pendant and wear it on shot days. Sometimes people will ask about it, and sometimes I make the joke that I just went through menopause VERY early in life
Sometimes I joke that I just went through menopause very, VERY early 🤣
Turns out that doctors don’t care about women’s health or quality of life if we can’t have children, whether that’s because of menopause or because we’re trans! Also turns out that finding solidarity in that cuts through a lot of the barriers between us!
I’ve got the HRT autism so I talk a lot to trans women and educate them about a lot of the stuff no one has told them, and it turns out that a huge amount of that knowledge is transferable to cis women going through menopause
omg adorable
Constantly, tbh
Yeah seems like you’d have to cover them in extreme ways
:3
Transphobes hate WPATH because of their transition care guidelines. I hate WPATH because of their transition care guidelines. We are not the same
“Buddy” is absolutely malicious misgendering. Depending on context it’s arguably worse than “bro”
Oh absolutely
hello đź‘‹ i have developed a new tool called blĂĽuĂĽmpĂi. blĂĽuĂĽmpĂi will convert every file on your hard drive to a .wav file without asking you, maximize your system volume, and play them on every bluetooth speaker you have ever connected to. if you offer feedback on blĂĽuĂĽmpĂi i will take legal action
idk why I put that “no” at the beginning of the first post lol, I meant to agree that spiro has nasty side effects. You can absolutely get bicalutamide here in the US tho; cyproterone is the one that isn’t available here
edited dril tweet. text reads “i put years of hard work into getting my spiro degree at spiro college & now everyones like “oh spiros bad”,”its ineffective” fuck off
endocrinologists:
If monotherapy high enough to suppress your T isn’t an option**
If monotherapy high enough to suppress your T isn’t enough, look at other anti-androgens. I had an excellent experience with bicalutamide; it worked extremely well at suppressing T effects with none of the fatigue/brain fog/sexual side effects/having to pee all the time of spiro
No, spiro is just awful stuff. It’s not even good at what it does; the anti-androgenic effects are off-target for it, and the side effect profile is nasty
