I really enjoyed Cloud Cuckoo Land by Anthony Doerr. It's written in a way that's incredibly kind to its characters, some who are dealing with neurodivergence, physical deformities, etc.

Victory City by Salman Rushdie was also beautifully written.

IKEA started selling these new energy-monitoring smart plugs (INSPELNING) for about $12. They're just Zigbee devices so you can add them to Home Assistant and start logging stats.

I hooked one up to my dishwasher and another one to a mini fridge. Pretty cool to see their run cycles.

Eh, it's doable if you have a fast charger near a mall or somewhere you like to hang out. Or if you're patient and don't mind waiting :)

There's some debate about how DC charging affects battery health long-term but 🤷‍♂️ meh.

Yeah EV life is definitely easier when you can charge at home. I dealt with a standard outlet + supercharging for about a year.

Can't imagine buying a non-EV now though. Absolutely the best car I've ever driven in pretty much every aspect.
