Flying for work, Gatwick tried to take my gaffer tape (to safeguard/secure electrical cables), said you can't board with heavy duty adhesive tape that "needs scissors to cut" in case I tape myself to the plane. Responded by tearing it with my hands. They had to get a supervisor to approve it.
