at what point in time does it become understandable/forgiveable to potentially breach a friend's privacy and trust to ascertain their well-being?

like, when does it start being socially acceptable to reach out to someone's close family (sister, brother-in-law) if those people are strangers to you?

aside from their phone (which is turned off), the only things I do have are their home address, and I've also found a few of their family members on Fbk.

Ok so it was extremely weird to find out in the middle of signing during a zoom call in Swedish Sign Language that the recent macOS Sonoma update means a double thumbs up triggers a fireworks effect on camera 👍😐👍
