Labour promised to cut energy bills. Instead, households will be paying around ยฃ700 more.

If the UK government will not cut energy bills, they should get out of the way and put the powers in the hands of a Scottish Government that will.

On May 7th, vote both votes SNP for a government on your side

Scotland is one of the richest energy nations in the world. So why are bills still through the roof?

If Westminster wonโ€™t bring them down, they should hand energy powers to Scotland. And if we're returned to government that's exactly what we'll demand.

Make it Both votes SNP on Thursday 7 May.

Astonishing that Liberal Councillors @FifeCouncil voted today against devolving the power to the North East Fife Area Committee (which they control) to be able to establish Short Term Let Control Zones and voting to retain power over them in the gerrymandered cabinet committee.

I want to avoid disruption to pupils' education that comes with industrial action.

The Scottish Government has put forward a fully funded proposal for COSLA to avoid these strikes.

I encourage other parties to join the team effort to get the deal over the line tomorrow.

So much for Labourโ€™s promises to respect the Scottish Parliament.

Only the SNP will always stand up for Scotland and protect our Parliament.

When you hear โ€˜Reformโ€™ claiming to be the low tax party, remember their 2 (and a half) Cllrs in Fife actually voted with Labour and the Torys for the highest ever Council Tax increase in Fife in 2025.

Quite the thing to witness Fife Labour not only beholden to and proposing motions (about Coalfields) with the Toryโ€™s but now relying on and negotiating with Reform to get their policy positions through Fife Council meetings.

If you missed it (extra, due to Bluesky crash) late last night, results of the Glenrothes Central and Thornton by-election.

Won't get to charting til late this evening, but final round was SNP 53.7% (+2.6), Lab 29.1% (-10.4), Didn't Transfer 17.2% (+7.8); pretty dire for Labour, this one.
