Did someone explain to her he fought to keep the facists out, not to let them in?
He is probably turning in his grave knowing his great granddaughter is a facist.

This is awful
That doesn't look like the "owl-piss" (famous Dutch phrase) that is Heineken....
It will return. It might take a while, but it will.
Politicians should be honest and open about the damage Brexit has done, and still does. But they still seem to fear the Brexiteers...
At moments like this I'm very happy I still have an EU passport.
Cakeism is deeply ingrained in the British psyche, 10 years after the fact they still can't fathom it.
He has probably stolen enough in those 16 years to have a comfortable retirement.
And in the eyes of many voters, it legitimises Reform.
No bad! I got most of the actor/director questions, but no clue about composers...
There is a big difference between "should" and "should not but probably will". It makes it clear on which side of the climate debate Labour is on.
Yes, but that is not how it is presented, the suggestion is created that this is how "the public" thinks.
94% of the people against removing the two-child cap? Really?
It would be fantastic if it would be anywhere close to realistic.
Very much so! #Yes
I recognise a lot of me in that story, although I was never hospitalized, I left home at 16 because they couldn't cope.
For me it took an abusive relationship, depression and an attempt to step in front of a train to get mental help, which resulted in an ADHD and Asperger diagnosis. Age 53.
What a waste of renewable electricity.
Religion is and has always been a way of the rich to control the masses.
It used to be the church itself and Autocratic rulers (royals mainly), now it is the (far) right weaponising it (with the goal of installing autocratic rulers again).
We don't live in Victorian times anymore, where rich factory owners could let the workforce die in miserable circumstances as there were plenty to replace them.
Although the rich are very keen to go back, and "we" vote for that to happen. Hitler didn't save Germany, Trump doesn't save the US.
And the funny bit is that it doesn't fix anything. It reduces the workforce, the general health of that workforce, it reduces the output per worker, which leads to an increase in immigration to cover both, and a reduction of growth of the economy.
Everything in the UK is geared towards making rich people richer. One of the results is a low wage economy, which results in low tax revenue, which results in austerity, which results in a continues reduction of public services.
A bit late to the party?
The UK has been useful idiots for quite some time, even before the Irak war.
They are billionaires exactly because nothing trickles down.
If you give a poor person more money, they'll spend it.
If you give a rich person more money, they'll hord it, or invest it to make more money.
Investment doesn't grow the economy, consumption does (are you listening, Rachel Reeves?).
You would assume the average IQ is capable of looking further than sound bites and headlines.
It doesn't require much intellect to deduct that problems caused by austerity are the result of the party introducing said austerity. And if you skim through Reforms plans, you see only more of it.
This is why the right is against education for the masses, they want an electorate dumb enough to believe all the lies peddled to them.
Bread and circuses.
And it seems to work.
Shows you the level of intelligence of the average voter.
Firewomen and men voting for the arsonist!
Ah, that explains Britains jerk to the right. Brits know everything about keeping and eating cake...
Possible. But at least one of these accounts is extremely critical of Starmer, especially Labours position on Palestine, so still weird...
Weird. Some look like bots (no single post or reply), some seem US based but clearly not pro Trump, some are UK lefties.
You have to be a bit careful with simply believing the complaint of said journalist in his own column.
Repeating the same insinuations over and over again, simply to score some cheap points, doesn't go well with any Dutchman.
Water long gone other the bridge.
I may be ignorant when it comes to waging a war, but when planes loaded to the brim with bombs take of, how do you know what they are going to attack?
I'm pretty sure that if that is (civilian) infrastructure, they won't say so before they take off...
The house is on fire. Do you open the tap before or after you have a discussion with the fire crew?
While this is all happening (or not), fact remains the bases are being used.
He IS a brutal oppressor. Perhaps he's using himself as reference, and can't find anyone more brutal?
