Buffy has aspects that haven’t aged well, including Nicholas Brendon’s character who has problems with consent, but still holds up today in a lot of ways.
It also is an accurate metaphor for living in denial of mass harm and what a few good-hearted misfits can do to stop it. Wholesome in a 90s way.

It is now illegal for trans people to drive a car until they surrender their license at a DMV (that most will need to drive to) and have it reissued with the wrong gender marker
This was never about woman's sports
Because of the National driver register, since their licenses are suspended, trans folks cannot move to another state and get a new license until they remove the suspension on their existing Kansas license.
They can't even escape this by moving to another state.
This regime is putting more time and money into deporting a five year old than protecting the hundreds of children harmed by Epstein & those around him.
