The specific epithet, "manga" means blue in Malagasy & it's not hard to see why. Only males are blue.
The tiny back wings ("alae") are an example of brachyptery: they're useless for flight, but have other functions.

looking at the stats, inkbunny has over 1.3 million registered users, the last time furaffinity put stats out like that it was 1.6 million. so maybe their size isn't as far apart as we might think? 🤔
on the other hand, inkbunny has always been transparent that they allow anything on their site. this, unfortunately, also applies to AI. but their moderation is miles better, you can actually blacklist tags and it will work, bc the mods make sure things are tagged properly. but it's smaller too
FA is a necessary evil in this day & age, even though they sometimes get a wild hair about what to ban. their moderation in general is awful to non-existent. and it's always in the air what they will ban next. but, they're also the biggest furry site online to this day. the biggest audience is there
