This is a repeat offense with Polygon Pictures and their adaptation of Drifting Dragons!

Airships hunting dragons ala steampunk fantasy whaling should've been a slam dunk adaptation, but sadly this is an air ball

All You Need Is Kill Anime Film Ships on Blu-ray Disc on July 7 Anime now available digitally for rental/purchase

I think Lazarus is worth a mention. It hasn't been kicked in a while.

All of the good art, animation, designs, & music is wasted on this wet paper bag of a plot with characters as boring as mud

Day 22. Best story/narrative

Okay, so after I pay my regular tax to Ghost in the Shell, I have to say I'm really impressed with the direction of The Apothecary Diaries!

It's everything I love about a good mystery with a compelling political drama! Maomao supremacy!

And there it is!

I kept waiting for anything of substance to happen and then the movie was over.

I still enjoy the visuals & references, but they were the emptiest of empty calories...

Probably expecting me to post an action series with hyyyyyyype! Nah

For me, it's Mushi-shi. The attention to detail in every frame is a work of art, and I discover something new every time I watch (and I've watched this anime a LOT!)
