I was informed by @mirkowuff.bsky.social that @foxtrotclub.bsky.social was going on like a mile from my hotel, so I dropped in on it for a bit. It’s a neat event at a nice venue, hats off to the organizers for putting it on!

I’ve only ever seen Blucifer from a distance, rearing majestically over the prairie, but I’ve got to admit seen close up that’s one fucked up looking horse.
So the general consensus seems to be “we try to avoid downtown”, which as a Chicagoan: fair. Hopefully I’ll end up with some free time to explore beyond downtown, but regardless I get to ride a whole new (to me) light rail system, and isn’t that the whole point of traveling?
