Your pic looks very familiar 😉 I'm just coming up to a year with mine, like it a lot.

Ooh, is it a not-a-Volvo?
Or performative nonce-sense, if you will.
Interesting, and ofc arrived at a time when Renault was making a big push on crash safety, aiming to shed its previous flimsy image.
The French carmakers had been successfully lobbying the EU to delay tougher crash tests, but EuroNCAP changed the game; Renault responded rapidly to emphasise safety.
My friend said someone in our office building ended up getting a glimpse of our floor and said, "Oh, this is nice, is this a daycare?" (Our lobby area is covered with cartoon murals from our games)
this morning, mamdani’s team got in touch with me to float a new tax proposal: if your net worth exceeds $5 million and you dress badly, you’ll be hit with a 10% annual levy for “visual pollution.” i would be in charge of deciding if the outfits are bad.
Perhaps understandable that landlocked countries wouldn't join a maritime conference... (ahem)

A grotesque face
if it has (or had) a water spout, it’s a gargoyle, if it doesn’t, it’s a grotesque. thank you for coming to my tedtalk, see you all next month when I give it again
Schmee had a recent vid where he was saying that lots of super-rich people left London / the UK a few years back which pushed down the prices of RHD Ferraris and other high-end supercars noticeably for a while, and they're now bouncing back up.

- seems like it may have ended somewhat before midnight?
I want them on a set of dinner plates... probably a strange idea, just think they'd look great like that.
As these now decade+ old cars naturally age off the road, the pettifogging bureaucracy will no longer be required or justified.
The rash of "low emission zones" etc was a temporary response to a temporary problem where Euro 4 & 5 regulations had huge loopholes letting millions of polluting diesels onto the road (strongly encouraged by governments at the time due to lower CO2).
At the extreme, if you're doing a driving holiday across Europe you end up having to research dozens of separate sets of rules, apply in advance for permits and stickers, each of which has to be displayed 'properly' in your windscreen - even with an EV or a Euro 6 petrol it becomes onerous.
It's anti-democratic because the law affects lots of people who don't get a vote in choosing the leaders who decide on them.
Good. This kind of balkanisation is ridiculous and anti-modern. If someone's bought a car that met all legal requirements when new, then later turning around and outlawing them later on is deeply unfair, and hits the least wealthy the hardest.
It used to be common here to see taxis with a sheet of cardboard covering part of their grille in winter, although I think that was more to help them warm up than for aero.
Which also reminds me how Ian Callum took the basic proportions of the Z32 300ZX as a basis when updating the Jag XJS to create the Aston DB7 (moving the cowl forwards and raking the windscreen more, shorter rear overhang).
What a fascinating precursor to the Cygnet! 😀
I like the Aston grille on the A80, I could imagine the idea working if the rest of it was better done.
Image of a new Mercedes EQS from a Pistonheads article. The text reads: "Mercedes EQS gets overhaul - and 575-mile range Entirely new electric architecture, the MB Operating System and steer by wire (with a yolk) for flagship EV" Yes, "yolk" where other people would write "yoke".
Clearly pinned up on the wall at Pistonheads HQ (unless it's a deliberate Easter pun)
First full illustration with shading I shared. Back then I still used gradients and was finding my style. Lamborghini Miura illustration. https://www.instagram.com/p/BnYfNalHZVY/?img_index=1
Little by little I kept on getting better.
Making friends with mistakes.
Understanding them as points to improve.
Every time you notice a mistake in your work it's not a failure, but a learning opportunity.
You are literally getting better.
So I kept pushing.

Honestly the Greens should make a big issue of bike theft, because it would both play to their old base (the bicycle bit) while also drawing attention to the fact that, for all Labour like locking up grannies and vicars, they are not in fact tackling crime that spoils everyday life.
I remember sitting in a Mazda dealer in Japan asking if they had any FD dampers, eventual answer was sorry, no. This was pre-pandemic too, and for a '96 JDM car.
Eventually Rotortorque found me a full set, but as said this was some time ago.
A four-panel comic. In panel 1, two people are standing in the forest, wearing backpacks. The red-haired person says "I've never hiked with a naturalist before! I'm excited. I hope I brought enough water." The brown-haired person says "I'm sure you did. Let's go!" In panel 2, the brown-haired person points at various nature features. "Look, a red eft! It's the teenaged form of the Eastern Newt. Ooh, wintergreen! Wanna smell it? I hear a Chestnut-sided Warbler. Glacial till. Rubble of the last ice age!" In panel 3, the naturalist points to more nature items. "This forest seems early successional. Aw, a leafcutter bee with a piece of leaf! Wow, deer poor! Wow, fungi growing out of the deer poop!!" The red-haired person says "Okay, but..." In panel 4, the red-haired person continues, "It's been an hour and we've walked three feet." The brown-haired person exclaims, looking excited, "Three amazing feet!"
Sometimes you make a new comic, and sometimes you redraw an old one because you lost the original high res file 😅
Digital illustration of a chibi Princess Mononoke, San, sitting on the forest floor, with her great white wolf, Moro sitting behind her with her chin resting on San’s head. They are surrounded by trees, vegetation, and little kodama, or “tree spirits.”

Not your fault, I really think the switches on Stellantis EVs are terrible, and that Audi looks even worse! Changed my Citroen for a Polestar and my three-point turns take half the time now.
Fingers crossed, I hope it leads to great things for you.
