Stepping outside, the air is rich with rain-kissed branches, crushed clover, and wild grass.
I am a child again—barefoot in fields, laughter drifting like music, hands full of daisies.
But the past slips away, a golden dream fading with the wind, just out of reach, aching to be touched.

Somehow I managed to make this with a screaming toddler in the background 🥲

Healing isn’t linear.

Sometimes, you stumble and hit the bottom again. Climbing out feels harder each time.

Some days, you sit there, exhausted. But now, you have a tool.

Slowly, you learn to use it. You grow stronger. And eventually, step by step, you climb your way out.

My husband and I were lucky to get promo cards 😳 We both collect— I’ve been collecting since generation 1— since I was 7 and this is the worst I have seen. Even local card stores are selling at scalper prices due to demand. It’s horrible.

I do love going into a book somewhat blind, but I will read the first chapter to determine if I like the writing style. There’s been times I have been pleasantly surprised especially if it’s not my usual genre.
