Brian Schwake has allowed just five goals in 14 matches in all competitions this season.
He's already kept nine clean sheets. He's just four clean sheets away from equalling Nashville's single-season record of 13 in the MLS era.
Again, Nashville have played 14 games!

Nope, but G+ does, and it’s heavily factored.
If you’re looking for a basic report of who won and how many goals were scored, the table is a pretty good start. This model isn’t perfect, but it’s been a pretty decent predictor of actual team quality for the last 6 years.
I think it's also letting teams push way harder in the first half of the season than they normally would. Nashville and LAFC are both going all out in both MLS and CCC in ways that we haven't seen before, and I think some of it is b/c they know that after the CCC final, they'll have 2 months off.
This gives a bit more context:
Good lucky scatter plot for MLS 2026; SKC is atrocious, Vancouver is incredible
good-lucky catter plot of all MLS teams since 2013
With most teams having played 8 games, the underlying stats are beginning to become useful while still noisy.
Vancouver may be the best MLS team ever and SKC the worst. Both are performing as expected.
There's a huge pack of average teams down on their luck.
Seattle's road schedule is brutal. But LAFC's underlying data says they're creating and preventing chances at a much higher level than the results show.
If Seattle's form holds and LAFC's underlying don't translate to results, the model will catch up. That's the point of running it all season.
Matchday 8 Power Rankings are out now!
• Inter Miami finally break into the Top 10
• Vancouver, San Jose, and Nashville separating into their own tier
• Montréal's OPI gets a massive increase, while Red Bulls are falling off a cliff

If Niko Tsakiris, Zavier Gozo, Adri Mehmeti, and Julian Hall aren't in a USMNT camp soon after the World Cup ends, I'll be shocked.
Tsakiris has been the best player on the field in this San Jose Earthquakes/LAFC game. What a talent.
Soccer is the most important of the unimportant things. Eduard Löwen's return to the field was a reminder of how unimportant sports are, but simultaneously how they can provide some measure of joy during unthinkable suffering.
Shak Mohammed. First goal in Nashville. First goal in MLS. Assisted by Hany Mukhtar, who has taken him under his wing this season.
"Ever since I stepped foot in Nashville, he's been a brother figure for me."
Nashville SC can't stop winning. Three wins in a row on the road in Charlotte, Mexico City, and Atlanta. Hany Mukhtar heating up. 5 goals conceded in 14 matches in all competitions. Unreal start to the season.
GOAL! SHak Mohammed ices it! Fantastic counter from Nashville, scoring directly from an Atlanta corner kick.
First MLS goal for Mohammed, who is in tears. He turns to Mukhtar and clearly says "Thank you so much bro!" 😭
GOAL! Nashville take the lead after a great defensive play from Jeisson Palacios, stepping into midfield and winning possession. Hany Mukhtar drives the length of midfield at a whithering defense and sets up Cristian Espinoza for a simple finish, Nashville up 1-0.
Response to our pool reporter question on why Inter Miami’s Yannick Bright was given a red card in the 87th minute:
“Yannick Bright was given a red card for offensive, insulting, abusive language. He said, ‘b*tch *ss n*gga’ to his opponent.”
No Surridge in the team for Nashville again. Makes sense to give him a full week off to recover from a hamstring issue.
This is about as strong a lineup as it gets for Nashville. Going for three points after Tuesday's win at the Azteca.
Colorado soccer history made‼️
They're on pace to earn 17 points (4th-worst all time), 0.50 points per game (3rd-worst all time), score 30 goals (11th-worst all time), and concede 85 goals (worst all time by 7).

Nashville SC’s Concacaf Champions Cup semifinal schedule against Tigres is set:
🏠 Tuesday, April 28, 7:30 CT
✈️ Tuesday, May 7, 8:30 CT
BJ Callaghan says Sam Surridge is questionable for tomorrow’s match in Atlanta. He says he’s made good progress over the last few days, but “still has to clear a few hurdles” to be cleared of Saturday.
He says both Jeisson Palacios and Reed Baker-Whiting are fine.
There's an "it would free up prime match windows at shared venues" argument that floated around the last couple of times this came up, and unfortunately it doesn't hold up for the majority of current teams.

We've added a really cool charts feature to our Nashville SC stats app, giving a visual breakdown of player performance over the years.
Nashville SC will play Liga MX's Tigres in the Concacaf Champions Cup semifinals. They'll play the first leg in Nashville before travelling to Monterrey for the second.

Nashville SC’s turnaround over the last two years has been nothing short of top-tier 🟡
Last night’s historic takedown of Club America at the Azteca is just the latest example of the club’s push forward.
Nashville SC are the first MLS club to ever win a match in Mexico City's Azteca Stadium. They're just the 14th MLS club to make it to the Concacaf Champions Cup semifinals, and they're looking to become the second to ever win the tournament.
