Contempt for those who don't butter her bread.
Good piece. I find it have to manage my satire intake. Jon Stewart's daily show is well balanced by his more serious weekly show in terms of both keeping eyes on the real issues as well as acknowledging the gravity of the situation.
Jimmy was as annoyed with himself as we were.

So less a comment on Helle and more a comment on org will (and/or ability) to adjust.
It's interesting - Helle (to my ears) bacically said his first choice is to win here, and his second choice is to win elsewhere. When some media changed their prediction (re: Helle finishing contract in Wpg) from high chance to 25-50%, it's really a lack of faith that org status quo will change.

Absolutely Jen!
If the outputs are problematic (whatever the inputs are), they have to own it, and when it comes to news reporting, it's fair to hold any news org to a high standard. He's essentially saying flawed coverage coverage is better than no coverage. That's not a confidence-building defence.
I wonder if the name Boring is an homage to Elon Musk (and his Boring Company).
Many disturbing things in here but this jumped out in particular:
"At Patel’s direction, FBI employees are polygraphed in an effort to identify leakers ... asked ... about Patel’s perceived 'enemies,' as well as whether they have ever said anything disparaging about the director or the president."

Twenty-nine people have died in ICE custody since October, the start of the federal government's fiscal year, already surpassing 2004's toll of 28, the previous record, according to government data. n.pr/4sLetjV
Newly introduced legislation in Ontario will abolish the Higher Education Quality Council of Ontario, and absorbing into the ministry. This is another in a long line of decisions to destroy the autonomy of university in Ontario and place them under greater and more direct government control.

Yup, it's interesting. I wonder if the data is noisier because of a much smaller population in those counties. Grafton (around 4K population) would be by far the largest community in that cluster of "green" counties. Most are much smaller. It's all correlation, but it's notable.
Manitoba ramifications. Cancer rates, pesticide use, and Red River Valley correlations. ⬇️
would have been a good call!
Googled it. Looks like it means no obvious injuries as well.
Very cool. I guess "four green" is code for "they're all alive".
